I just bought fifty bamboo poles in B&Q, thus taking building a succah from a vague idea I might do if I can be bothered to something I am now reasonably committed to. My first succah, here I come!

Did you buy anything else in B&Q? Or are you hoping to construct a succah solely out of 50 bamboo poles? Were they the top bits, like garden canes, or the bottom bits, like tree trunks?

Man, am I looking forward to seeing this succah!

That was just the start. Today I have to decide what to get for the walls: a load of hessian, or rather less hessian and an elephant. Which do you think it will be?
