It is so much too read that I can't remember everything. What did the dead sea scrolls contained? Only the scripts or also the books of the prophets.
Go back and read again. ;^b
I know there were some scrolls like the book of the Maccabies (although we celebrate Chanuka strangely), book of Judith and Tobit and several others but they were in Greek so not included in the Hebrew one.
That's wrong; that's not why they were not included in the Bible. At least certain of the Apocrypha were written in Hebrew, but the Hebrew original was later lost, and only the Greek translation retained. Portions of the Hebrew originals of some of these were found with the Dead Sea Scrolls
What language were they speaking during the time of the Hasmoneans?
Aramaic, and Koine Greek. Hebrew had become a learned language not used by the man on the street, though not yet extinct as a spoken language.
What was evil about them?
That depends on your point of view. They're normally held up as fighters for Jewish values.
Did we actually adopt the Greek solar calendar, I mean in general in the Western society?
No.
What was the Roman like, was it a solar one or a lunar one? Did they had month of 30 or 29 days with 12 months or whatever as well?
The Roman one is identical to the one we use nowadays except for how it handles leap years.
