NASA's lack of vision
NASA have chosen to put yet another lander on Mars rather than sail a boat on the seas of Titan.
Honestly; I can appreciate that there will be a scientific dividend, but yet another lander cluttering up the surface of Mars (and this one without even the redeeming feature of being able to move around to get a different view!) does not capture my imagination anything like the way the first view of riverine systems outside of our planet, captured as the Huygens probe parachuted down, did.
Anybody for a quick whiparound so that we can pay for the Titan mission ourselves?
