Hurricane
I was talking to someone in her early twenties last night at Wandering Jews, who said her parents' friends (I think) live in New York, but were here during the hurricane.
lethargic_man: Oh, you mean in 1987.
Her: No, just the other week.
lethargic_man: Oh, you mean the hurricane there, Hurricane Sandy.
Her: There was a hurricane here in 1987?
