I've just come back from a five-day trip to Stockholm, to visit livredor and ploni_bat_ploni—the first time I've been abroad specifically to visit friends.

How would you translate Älvsjö? "Elf-lake", or "fairy-lake"? I.e. do you consider "elf" to be equivalent to "fairy"? (I'm astonished that such Tolkien fans as livredor and ploni_bat_ploni could conflate these!)
