Spam

I appear to have stopped getting spam. I must have been running at about fifty spam a day, plus an undetermined number my client-side filters deleted straight off rather than shunting into my spam box; and for the last week I've been getting nothing. I'm not sure what my ISPs are doing (or, indeed, which ISP is responsible for it: Pipex, which provides my mailbox, or Mythic Beasts, which provides my domain, and had previously been attaching headers correctly identifying most (but not all) spam messages), but it's very impressive.

Hm. That's amazing. I'm just hoping they haven't set an over-zealous spam-filter -- not receiving things just makes me suspicious, even if it's good, I worry I'm not receiving anything at all :)

OTOH, I use gmail, and only ever get very few spam not into my spam folder, and to be fair, I only ever check the spam folder if there's something specific gone missing and I think only ever once was I there, so despite my second thoughts, I'm actually doing about the same thing.

My hotmail simply puts everything that I did not saved or marked as safe in the junkmail. When someone just changes the letters before and assif newsletter it puts that into spam. Just an invented example jfg@assif.org and next time rtf@assif.org. I may not know the second one and puts into junk mail. But I can always see it and mark as save in order to read it.
