Today's Wikipedia silliness

The case of the Negotiable Cow. (Sadly, despite the article stating that cheques can and have been written on all kinds of strange surfaces, the one time I tried this, when I ran out of cheques shortly before my rent was due, the bank refused to accept my crossed cheque written on a blank piece of paper.)

I heard something like that used to work. I guess they do not do it any longer. You can easily make up something. When you haven't got enough funds they charge you. It would not look like a serious transaction if they can only provide piece of paper or napkin as a proof.
