...mostly on the basis that Aqaba looks narrower than Suez, and the land connection between Sinai and (the rest of) Africa is narrower than that between Sinai and (the rest of) Asia.

When I visited Port Said in Egypt, the locals referred to the ferry crossing as 'crossing Asia and Africa", so I'll go with that!

I'll go with your minority Sinai is Africa. I always thought that beforehand. I also think the whole Arabian landmark is Africa.

I reckon that if Egypt is talking about it, its part of Africa. If Jews or Israelis are doing the talking, its actually part of Europe.

Personally, I think it should be annexed to the Antarctic.
