Flat panel monitor recommendations?

lethargic_manI need to get a monitor for epicyclic, and fancy getting a flat panel one (as CRTs take up too much room and are too heavy to move, and I dislike having to stare down the muzzle of a particle accelerator to view stuff). Anyone got any recommendations for or against particular models?
(Speaking of which, I saw a TV hung on the wall for the first time the other day -- a horay old staple of science fiction finally brought to life. Admittedly it was probably screwed to the wall; we're some way off picture hook territory yet, but it's a good sign.)
