Sunday, October 14th, 2007 09:58 pmFor several years I have had two videotapes lying around my flat. At least one contained a programme my parents had recorded for me, and given to me in what turned out to be the vain expectation that I might someday move into a flat with a video recorder.
Given that I now own my own flat, and, with the rise of PVRs, am not now ever going to get a VCR, I took the opportunity last time I went to take the tapes up to Newcastle, return them to my parents, and watch whatever was on them, which turned out to be a documentary about The Magic Roundabout.
Which reminded me I have never seen Dougal and the Blue Cat, so I went off to easyCinema to get it out on DVD... only to find it's never been released on DVD. *sigh* This could be a while yet...
Update: There's a copy on video in my local library system. Now all I need to do is find somebody with a video player to watch it with.
