How would you market all of the history and literature that you have pointed out? I think that it is likely that people will be less intriguied by a poster that has a city in flames than a city with sun and sand. I agree that all that you have pointed out are important and intriguing aspects of the locations, but I do wonder how they would be marketed, and if sun and sand is easier to advertise with.
