And this was shot with a compact; no fancy lenses or anything! (Admittedly it did take me three years of throwing away lousy photos of dragonflies to get this, but still...)

The photo was shot, fwiw, by a spring-fed pool just down from the chalcolithic temple at Ein Gedi.
