Service length

Based on a post of miriammoules (which I didn't comment on, as it was way off topic for the actual post content) and conversation with aviva_m, how long do you think the main religious service of the week ought to be? You might like to add to your answer your religion, in case there turn out to be significant discrepancies between religions in the answers of their adherents. (Feel free to point your Muslim, Hindu, etc, friends at this post too!)
