Succos' less well-remembered theme

Let's not get too distracted at Succos with the dwelling in temporary booths and shaking plants; these are both just reflections of what the festival is _really_ about, which becomes overt on Hoshanna Rabbah, and on Shemini Atseres, and did so once upon a time throughout Succos in the Temple.
