Verona Old Castle Museum art

My sleeper train arriving into Verona several hours before aviva_m got there, I took myself off to the Old Castle museum to have a look at some art.

"And did those feet in ancient time // Walk upon England's mountains green"? Apparently, yes:

However, the angel which announced the Resurrection was apparently Danish:

Finally, is this not the cutest sixteenth-century painting you've ever seen?

It's Ritratto di ragazzo con disegno ("Portrait of Boy With Drawing", apparently), by Giovanni Francesco Caroto (c.1480-1555). (Link khapped from here; the painting must have been restored between when perelynn took this photo and when I saw it, when it looked like this.)
