One for my Stateside readers here: Can anyone tell me what the value of one of these is?

US stamp

(The explanation, for those who are interested: Back in the day when I was submitting lots of stories to US magazines, I built up a stockpile of US stamps for editors to send stamped addressed envelopes to myself in the UK. The stamps were 80¢ ones; because I anticipated this to rise, I got a number of H-rate markup stamps too. According to the Net of a Thousand Lies, the postage seems now to be 98¢, which is annoying, as I have enough H-rate markup stamps plus one 10¢ stamp to make up 97¢;* so, I'm wondering if I might be able to do something useful with the above stamp instead.

* Even more annoying, I've just discovered the eight franked International Reply Coupons I got for SAEs to be posted from other countries became useless at the end of 2006. That's £12.80 (in today's money) down the drain.

First class is usually domestic mail, which until the end of 2011 is worth 44 cents. I can't read the year in the bottom left hand corner, so that might make a difference...

2000, but even given reduced prices then, it's going to be (a) more than enough to make the difference, (b) less than the cost of an IRC, so I might as well go for that solution. Thanks!
