I haven't actually read any of your blog posts on Josephus, yet. However, I have been bemused, confused and amused by your titling of these posts as "fit the..." This meaning of the word "fit" doesn't seem to be in the conventional modern dictionary.
Eventually, after much googling, I discovered that the word is an archaic word meaning a verse of a poem, which was re-popularised by Lewis Carroll, in writing The Hunting of the Snark. All of which means the term is very "Michael".
However, I wonder if this is really why you chose to name these posts this way, or whether it is really due to the fact that the original radio episodes of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy came to be known as "fits", a fact which is no less "Michael", and the wikipedia entry for which is what finally revealed the true meaning of the word to me!
