I'm not saying that the Torah doesn't contain accounts from different traditions; I'm saying I don't think the entire thing is the result of someone going through and incorporating a verse from one tradition, then a verse from another, etc. And indeed the examples you give feature sequential accounts, rather than a single account to understand which according to the Documentary Hypothesis you have to take the whole thing apart and assign verses one by one.
