Foiled again!

There is a custom of putting down aluminium foil over surfaces during Pesach; it's a belt-and-braces mechanism in case you weren't sufficiently scrupulous in kashering your kitchen for Pesach. Being in my own place for the first time over (part of) Pesach this year, I proceeded to do this (though did not go to the ridiculous lengths of putting foil on the taps, etc), since, as I reasoned, I can always take up the foil afterwards and used it for cooking. (My brother, who is modern Orthodox, did not foil over his surfaces, leading me to exclaim, "Shock! Horror! Michael frummer than Paul!")

I find it rather fitting that, as I have just discovered, the foil from Pesach turned out to last exactly as far as Shavuos.

Shock! Horror! Then I am frummer than your brother, too. I did the same. I also foiled the sink because I only have one and need to use it all the time. So I can't wait for 24 hours.
