lethargic_manIt being a nice day, I thought I'd take luminiferous to the park and type up some more notes for my blog. Now the battery in luminiferous has been dodgy for a while, since I damaged the battery contacts (I used to take the battery in and out to save weight), and it leaks charge, hithertofore on the scale of overnight. So I switched it on, and charged it up fully until I could see it was charged, then shut it down and left it switched on until I went.
When I got to the park, it claimed there was five minutes charge. As it happened, that five minutes ended up lasting half an hour; but it was a nuisance, as I had expected 130 minutes out of it.
In short, it looks like I haven't ordered coronium (luminiferous's replacement) a moment too soon.
