Aside from the fact you're answering the question I didn't ask in this post, rather than the one I did ask:
(a) It's difficult to host film nights when you have no TV, only a 19" monitor, and a grand total of two comfy chairs. (Admittedly, I do have my pooter hooked to my sound system, and I have something like eight not-so-comfy chairs, but still.) (b) What gives you the idea I'm qualified to speak at informal shiurim? And why would people want to go to them rather than the formal shiurim being hosted (largely by borderline-charedi places) all around?
I don't understand why Spin0za1's answer is to the question you didn't ask. You asked what others do in their evenings and weekends, and she answered with a sampling of what she does in her evenings and weekends.
