Today snjstar introduced me to Moishe House, where we had a Rosh Chodesh service involving much singing, playing of drums, maracas and piano; croissants, meditation and sage-leaf burning, and greeting of the Moshiach. (Actually, it was only the tenth person, coming down the stairs having been finally woken by our very loud Hallel in the hall (which is where the piano was), so we could finally recite בָּרֲכוּ and kaddish.)

If Sunday morning services were like that more often (and started at 11:30 (or in practice, 11:00, commencing with the two-minute silence)), I might go more often...

I didn't know about it. I just saw some Assif people are in there. I assume it was fully egalitarian. I copied the email. The web page said people can register themselves. It is actually 20 - 30. I am just over it but as you were there I should be able to go their events, too.

Sssshh! I had to dye my hair and put a wig over my bald patch to get in there! If you let them know I'm 54, they'll kick me out! ;^b
