There was, apparently, a programme on BBC Four the other day, a dramatisation of Margaret Thatcher's struggle to get elected as MP in the fifties, called "The Long Walk to Finchley".

Heh; I know all about that: I do it every week on Shabbos. ;^)

I watched it, actually - and really enjoyed it. Some of the jokes were heavily telegraphed but were funny nonetheless l-)

Too late. You can just watch for a certain period of time and then it disappers from the free download programmes. I watched it , too, and liked the film. I compared the actor with the photos of the real young Mageret Thatcher. They made a good choice.
