Today's minor discovery...

Energy-efficient lightbulbs don't go out completely when you manage to break the glass attempting to unscrew them whilst still on.

(I could have done without finding that out, though...)

(My brother sent me that in October, but it's taken me until now to get around to watching it: my computer kept refusing to upgrade its version of Flash, until I ended up doing a complete reinstall of the OS, and (finally) getting it right this time.)

Now, how much of what was going on there did you recognise? And, for the molecular biology geeks in my readership, how much left you going "that's wrong, it's not like that because..."? :o)
