I thought: That's not like Alice, to engage in viral marketing like that. So I went and looked at her page, and she's written in big letters:

Alice is alarmed about the last wall post that was sent to some people because it wasn't sent from her! Whoever got it just ignore!

So it looks like I was right about my paranoia about Facebook applications all along: she's evidently got the Facebook equivalent of a virus.
