lethargic_manI just got an invitation to contribute to the Taste of Limmud's Another Voice section for פַּרְשַׁת וָאֵרָא. Waah, was my initial reaction: divrei Torah are not my forte. But then I thought, let's have a look what's in the sedra, and see if there's anything I feel I can rustle up a couple of paragraphs about.

livredor for introducing me to that fun midrash, though I did end up spending rather a lot of time this evening googling to determine its source (see §14) to verify exactly what it said.)
