Ill again!? I'm really not having a good year for this...

(Now, what are you supposed to do if you're not well enough to stay up until it's fully dark to count the Omer? I was, last night; but I went to bed at 9:15, and in a few weeks time it's not going to be fully dark until 10 o'clock. May one in extremis count between sunset and dark, or must one have to count the following day without a בְּרָכָה?)

Yes, you can count with a bracha any time after sunset, the later the better; perhaps you could make a habit of including it in your קריאת שמע שעל המטה. But if you counted before nightfall, it would be best to count again the next morning, without a bracha. (In Sefardi batei knesset they count every morning without a bracha, just in case someone forgot to count the previous night.)
