Sunset from my window
Tuesday, June 15th, 2010 09:17 pmMy flat faces the sunset. Isn't it nice to watch the sun set from your home?
The first summer I was in this flat, I watched the edge of the shadow of the flats opposite get a little closer to me every day, and I waited for the sunset to emerge into sight beyond the flats opposite. And waited. And waited, until at midsummer the sunset's clockwise movement stopped, mere inches from the line of sight of my flat. So I can see the sun set from my flat now, but I've got to hold that shaving mirror outside my kitchen window to do so. :-(
All I can say to the architects of the block of flats opposite is: You klutzes!
