Havdalah at Limmud Fest:

The reason I look so amused is I because I was given a havdalah candle with something ridiculous like seven wicks, which proceeded to burn down like crazy until by the end of havdala there was nothing left. At the point at which this photo was taken, I'd been reduced to sticking a key into it and holding the key, as it was spilling too much hot wax to hold directly.

I've never really thought about it before, but is a seven wicked candle seven times as bright? I suppose it must be...
