Some years ago, I was living with a lawyer, who recommended I should visit a law court at some time and see how justice is carried out. (Or maybe it was someone else, who had done such a thing, I forget.) I stuck it on my list of things to do, but fairly low down.

Now, however, I'm approaching the end of my leave year, with a few days still to fill; and I thought of this as something I could do in one (or perhaps half of one) of them.

Does anyone have any recommendations of where to go (I'm defaulting to the Old Bailey) and when; and would anyone like to go with me?

My brother's friend wanted to go and pursuaded us. So we went. We had to leave our stuff on the other site of the court and paid £2. Maybe if I just had my purse (some call it wallet) with me I might have been able to keep that. I don't know what it was called the court we went to. It was in the middle of the city but I don't think it was called Old Bailey. I ask my brother again. When do you plan to go? I do not have a regular job at the moment. In the middle of the week it is tricky. I have interview this week tomorrow and hope to get the job. I am coming to you over Shabbat, anyway. Is it Sunday open as well? The court we want to had murder case. The accused was a man who killed his wife. My brother's friend found out that he was German by made British citizen. The British had to deal with him then. I would have send him back to Germany.

Don't know yet. Sometime before the end of October, when my leave year ends.

Is it Sunday open as well?

No.

I hope I get something interesting like that, and not something boring!

Just adding! I forgot to mention the place we left it was some sort of take-away coffe shop.

Didn't you already do this some years ago? :-)

No. I'm confused by your smiley; it implies there's something I'm missing here...
