Miniature String Quartet, by Alec Rowley.

(I played it (well, the viola part, not all four instruments!) when I was about sixteen, and programmed one movement for the Hybrid Music System for the BBC Micro. For some reason—possibly because I almost never listened to it—I didn't digitise it when I was digitising my music for said system (from tape; I never managed to digitising direct from the Music 500 to work), and then the Music 500 died. (I've bought a replacement in December; it's the eBay purchase I was asking someone to pick up for me, and which I still haven't taken ownership of... must do something about this post Pesach...))
