Hosting on Succos
Friday, September 28th, 2012 09:53 amOne of the things about Succos is one is encouraged to host other people in one's succah. Last year I did rather poorly at this, so this year I've been looking in my diary at the places I've still got going for the yomtov meals and thinking "I've still got places at this meal, who can I invite?"
Only now I've suddenly realised I'm feeding fifteen people over the four yomtov meals, including myself four times (I'm not counting the people I've got to feed chol hamoed). I think it's time to stop inviting people and start making sure I've got enough food to last me out the four meals!
