Ceilidh

Anyone want to come with me to a ceilidh? This year I've finally got around to finding out when the Ceilidh Club has dates on Saturday evenings in winter at the start of the season. The next one is 15 December; subsequent dates 12 January and 16 February (if I'm still living in London by then!) They're at Cecil Sharp House, near Regent's Park, and cost £18.

Oooh, definitely tempted, ceilidhs are great and it would be a brilliant excuse to see you. The difficulty with 15^th December is that I am probably going to be needed to do a stone-setting in Stoke on Sunday morning. So a late night Saturday followed by having to leave early on Sunday morning might not be ideal. 12^th January looks plausible, but see what response you get. If you get a group together who are keen on the December date I can probably make it happen.

So far no responses except yours, and curious_reader, who was my first port of call, but not unexpectedly, put off my the price.

The problem is that the later the date, the less the certainty that I'd still be in London at the time. Though I doubt I'd have made the decision and moved as soon as the twelfth of January.
