Currency silliness

Having come back from Prague with a small amount of coinage, it'll probably share the same fate as the francs I had left over last bar one time I came back from France, i.e. by the next time I'm in the country they'll probably be using euros.
Still, it did give me a silly idea for a currency conversion chart:
1 crown sterling | = 10.84 Czech crowns |
1 dollar sterling | = 0.4415 US dollars |
1 mark sterling | = 1.9093 Deutschmarks |
1 florin sterling | = 0.3228 Dutch florins (guilders) |
Ah, the fun of pre-decimal British currency units. :o)

Date: 2005-11-06 12:21 am (UTC)My parents had lots of coins as well the Hungarian currency. I got rid of all of them because I thought it had the Euros as well. I assume you might have the same problem I mean changing money to real bad currency and claiming for a visa. Did you need a visa for the Tschech Republic? I know they are not in the EU either.
