Stand-up meetings

At times (though not at the present), the team I've been in at work has engaged in daily catch-up meetings. These meetings have been held standing up, to keep them short.

Apparently, the same applies to the Privy Council's monthly meetings: To keep them short, the Queen stands during them, and therefore no one else may sit.

Never mind royal protocol, HM is eighty-six. Standing through even a short meeting must take some determination.

Wikipedia says that the Monarch's place may be taken by Counsellors of State, so it's possible she delegates the standing up to one of them.

And she's a tough old bird. She was standing for ages on Jubilee Day!

Are you using Agile then? (We use Scrum, ala Mike Cohn.)

Bits of it, depending on what team I'm in. (When I worked for Auntie, we bought into first Extreme Programming and later Agile seriously; in my current employer teams are small, and it depends on the buy-in of whoever's running it.)
