*boggle* or what?

I've just popped into a local opticians to get the missing screws replaced in my glasses. On coming out, I noticed a rather fruity perfume smell, that whilst it was not particularly unpleasant, was not really to my taste. I assumed it was coming from one of the local shops or restaurants... but it stayed with me as I entered my place. Yup, you guessed it; it was coming from my glasses. *boggle* or what?

I have never had that when I used to have glasses. Maybe it is the stuff they cleaned it with or a woman's perfume she had still on her hands.
