Pesach in extreme brief
Wednesday, April 23rd, 2014 11:01 amWell, that was an interesting Pesach. In addition to introducing my father to his out-laws (potential future in-laws), I got punched by a drunk, mistaken for a celebrity, greatly surprised an author by telling him I'd read his book, and discovered on the way home that the person I'd invited back from shul for lunch was actually Christian.

It was only a few days since a stranger had approached me, said something in German, then, whilst I was trying to figure out if I could understand any of it, repeated it then punched me in the chest. Being approached on the street by a group of boisterous youths refusing to accept I was not who they said I was made me nervous in the extreme; I just wanted them to go away.
I might have reacted differently had the earlier incident not happened.
