I have a sore throat. I have a sore throat from shouting at the f**kwit whose blind spot I was in who turned left across my path without indicating (had he indicated, I'd have dropped back), and the Securicor driver (whose blind spot I was also in) who, two minutes later, cut across my path and stopped (indicating, but simultaneously with manoeuvring) during the twenty yard gap in the cycle lane... occasioned by a roundabout (one with no exit on the left). Yes, that's right, this f**kwit chose to pull to the left and stop on the double yellow lines on a roundabout.

Still, it gives me cause to be grateful I got around to giving my brakes a (somewhat overdue) tighten last night.

What I want to know is why, when drivers do this kind of thing then notice me (with or without me shouting at them), the ones who recognise they were in the wrong generally do not look shocked at the accident they have nearly caused, or apologetic, but grin sheepishly and cheesily...
