I just turned the shower on and a spider in the bath promptly legged it up the vertical side of the bathtub and onto the rim at the top. Woohoo—natural selection in action! :o)

Spiders seem to be better at that sort of thing than insects. Perhaps it's the extra legs?

I hate spiders. I used to be more phobic beforehand. Since we have permanently spiders in the house I got used to it. But I still don't touch it. I just don't get a shock whenever I see one. The woodlice are even more annoying. Well, we move soon and won't have this problem, hopefully.
