Firefox 2 woes

I just installed Firefox 2, because I thought protecting me against malicious websites would be a good thing. Sadly, it's gone back to Hebrew vowels not displaying correctly, and the click-to-expand-notes links in my genealogy presentation not working at all. *growl* (I think these both work fine in Windows, though.)
