Of newspapers with axes to grind

I have resolved to give up reading the Jewish News. The last issue I tried reading I got so angry I ended up throwing it to the ground and jumping up and down on. If somebody had offered me the chance to subscribe to the Jewish Chronicle at that point, I'd have done it on the spot (the Jewish News is free). Though, mind you, I don't know the JC is any better, though obviously with different bias.

Thing is, the Jewish News, for all that I only read it intermittently was my only access to Jewish news. Can anybody recommend a alternate source (preferably with relevance to Anglo-Jewry, though I'm not interested in the extremely local news aspect), less likely to annoy what blackherring calls a post-denominational Jew^*?

* Not how I identify myself, but I am pluralist in my outlook.

What about internet sites? Are there any good ways of getting news on the net?

I have seen another Jewish newspaper in a new agent shop in Hendon. I thought it must be anywhere. I can't remember how it is called. When I go into one I will look again.

The only other one which the name of escapes me is ultra orthodox and won't show pictures of women.

I am sorry that you always take everything so personal. Maybe I just expect that in particular the Orthodox have a completely different view which often sounds very unfair. I just thing they are stupid. Or I expect there in general stupid people out there with a completely distorted view of the world. I don't know exactly what annoyed you. I have other things to be annoyed about. I don't waste my energy on people I don't know.

Just to correct. I do not mean that all Orthodox have the same one. It depends on the person. Somebody who can think for himself is intelligent.
