My shul's kiddush
Saturday, June 30th, 2012 11:27 pmNormally on a Shabbos afternoon, I come home from shul stuffed with kiddush, go immediately for a shloff, and don't have lunch until after three.
In order to actually feel like eating before Shabbos goes out at all, I limit myself to no more than one of anything, give or take a little, at kiddush.
Unfortunately, in my shul that still means:
If I ever find myself in a situation of needing to lose weight, I think the first step to take will have to be change shul...

Unfortunately, in my shul that still means:
- One currant square
- One chocolate walnut biscuit
- One fish ball
- One florentine
- One piece of each type of cake
- Sometimes, if I'm lucky, one piece of Linzer torte
- Various kinds of pastry for which I do not know the name
