I've just discovered I've been banned from commenting in a friend's journal, whether on LJ or DW. If this person had a problem with things I'd said, it would have been polite at least to raise them with me. Well, I too can play the blunt weapon gambit: one defriending on LJ, DW, Facebook and RL coming up.

Date: 2013-02-05 12:44 pm (UTC)I've recently been unfriended on LJ/DW - also without explanation - by someone I've known for many years and considered a friend. I only found out because another friend was saying 'so-and-so's latest entry' I went 'I haven't seen that yet' and found that I could not. But while unfriending can be a case of 'I can't deal with your content, I need to step back and look after myself' banning is a much stronger act, and impossible to do accidentally in multiple places.
So, yeah, that sucks, and that doesn't sound much like someone whose company you should seek. It's ok not to like other people (or other people's opinions); but friends talk.
